Sub-Blogs

Appliance Notes is a blog where I file all the new and interesting kitchen appliances I see in the course of my work. I also include articles on choosing appliances here.
Kitschy Kitchens is a blog where I critique the worst of the worst in kitchens. Poor design, an assault on the eyes, wrong colors, wrong materials; they all can be found there. Take an amusing detour to discover what you DON'T want in a kitchen.

Red Retro Kitchen - Awwww

Isn't this just the cutest thing you ever saw?

If I still had a showroom, I'd buy it in a flash!

I think I must be stuck somewhere in my early childhood because I never got to play with a kitchen like this...Now I play with my clients' kitchens!

This charmer can be obtained at Stacks and Stacks.

Make a little girl's dreams come true.

  5. Save your nickles "Kitchen Ideas".

The way I got my start on this career of mine (I was a "retired" surgical nurse/mom) was remodeling my own kitchen, piece by piece, back in the '70's. I was desperate to have a decent space to work in and didn't have the money to hire others to do it.

Desperate women can accomplish miracles if we put our minds to it.

It took me a couple of years. But at the end I had a new kitchen that was the envy of all my friends and neighbors, and the knowledge and experience to help others with my design prowess.
