Sub-Blogs

Appliance Notes is a blog where I file all the new and interesting kitchen appliances I see in the course of my work. I also include articles on choosing appliances here.
Kitschy Kitchens is a blog where I critique the worst of the worst in kitchens. Poor design, an assault on the eyes, wrong colors, wrong materials; they all can be found there. Take an amusing detour to discover what you DON'T want in a kitchen.

Sorry Everyone

Hi everyone.
I have been caring for my husband, who is a disabled Vietnam veteran, for the last eight months while he has fought an infection stemming from a 39 year old bullet lodged near his spine.
He has been hospitalized for the last ten days.
If you pray to a God...pray for us.
If not, have good thoughts.
I'll be back when I can.

Thank you,

Peggy

  1. Peggy, you were already in my prayers. I started to worry about you a little since you have been absent from your blog lately.

Please accept my prayers for your husband. I am sending you positive thoughts tonight from Thousand Oaks, CA. Please remember to take care of yourself too.

    Sincerely,
    Laurie

  2. Sorry to hear that. I had just found your blog via Yale Appliance blog. Good luck. This time 4 years ago my wife was in intensive care in a coma so I know how you feel...

  5. Peggy:

Please thank your husband for me. As a father of three young children, words cannot describe how much I appreciate all the men and women who have fought (and are fighting) to keep us free. May God bless each and every one of them.

We will keep you in our prayers.
